One of my absolute favorite spots in North Brunswick, the lake view is simply unmatched. Best avocado toast I’ve ever had (even better than in France). Brunch mimosas and prosecco were outstanding 🥂 Delicious food, great atmosphere, and the lake view is unbeatable. The appetizers/shareables were amazing. The main course was good, delicious, but not as good as the appetizers. Our server Cori was lovely, very attentive. The drinks were nice and strong. The candy cane espresso was absolutely delicious!! I enjoyed the mojito wings.
The food is always so good. My favorites are the calamari and oysters. The portions are huge. The vibes are nice and staff are super friendly. I recommend coming for brunch! It gets super busy on the weekends and parking is tight, they do have valet parking.
I'm not the person to write many reviews but I have to give a shout out to Chelsea and the Staff at B2 in North Brunswick. We hosted my daughters baby shower this past weekend and it was nothing short of amazing! Chelsea walked us through everything and gave us plenty of time in advance to get her the information she needed, number of guests, add ins as far as food options and so on. We even met a week before the event to map out how tables should be set up. Any questions I had she was prompt to reply. The morning of the baby shower we were given ample time to setup, and the staff was there making sure we were going to stay on schedule. The entire event was flawless. I wish I had taken a picture of the room before everyone arrived but attached the ones I had without guests in them. This was one of the add ons I chose to go with the Mimosa Bar. All my friends and family complimented on how delicious the food was. We had chosen the Chicken, Braised Beef and Salmon, and all were wonderful. If ever I needed to recommend a venue for any event, B2 is at the top of my list! Again, a huge "Thank You" to Chelea and Staff.
We had my mother's 80th birthday party at B2 this past Saturday night. We were beyond thrilled with the entire party, from the ambiance, setup, service and food. The staff are outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Chelsea is amazing and even went as far as to pick up a new speaker in the middle of the party as the one there wasn't working correctly. Danny was amazing, ensuring that the flow of the party was perfect and checking in with me regularly. Alex, one of the servers, was also amazing and deserves to be recognized for outstanding service. The food was beyond our expectations. Everyone raved about the short rib entrée and the salmon and chicken were also delicious. The room was arranged beautifully and we loved the access to the patio and lake. Overall a 10 out of 10! I would not hesitate to have another party here. And, we'll be back soon for dinner! Great job by all. Most importantly, my mother had the best night ever! Thank you, thank you B2 staff! ❤️❤️
Nikky, our server, was very warm and attentive and made us feel comfortable right away. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the margarita pizza and the heated mango shrimp sushi roll, which was super tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, a great place to hang out whether you want to watch a match or just sit at the bar. The outside view is very scenic and beautiful, which really adds to the whole experience. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to spend time with friends and enjoy really good food.
The food was absolutely on point — the ribs were tender, juicy, and coated in a rich, flavorful BBQ sauce that hit every note. The fries were crispy, the coleslaw was fresh, and that cornbread? Soft, sweet, and the perfect side to tie everything together. Even the pizza in the background looked delicious. Definitely a spot that knows how to do comfort food right. But what really made the experience stand out was our server, Val. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about giving great service, and it made the whole meal even better. Great food + great service = 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back 👏
First time here today, had a really nice time. Place is very clean and open and warm! Many places like this can get drafty but we sat by the windows and it was very comfortable. There is such an extensive menu so we'll have to return to try more. The happy hour menu looked great too! I had the wings to start (one of a few different versions they have) and they were great! Then I had the French dip sandwich and that was also really good. Fries were seasoned perfectly! We also had the garlic steak sandwich and that was also great. For dessert we had the cheesecake. It wasn't my favorite but overall it was very good. Will definitely return. Anthony Staples at the bar was exceptional and gave us great service. Will definitely return!
Went there last Sunday, and we beat the Rutgers graduation rush. I wanted to eat something yummy, and I also wanted to enjoy the weather. We sat outside, and it was nice under the shade. I got the steak and eggs, and I subbed out the potato pancake for sweet potato fries. I also ordered a side of wild mushrooms. Everything was delicious! Cleaned my entire plate. My goddaughter got the gnocchi, and it was also yummy. She saved half for home, but she wanted to try their chocolate lava cake. She was delighted to know it wasn't so bitter, and she enjoyed it. Our server was fantastic! She answered all our questions, and she also gave us great recommendations. She was attentive without being overbearing. I loved that she brought us fresh, new pitchers of ice water consistently without us even asking. Great experience.
